Accounts purchased from unreliable sources can be locked at any time

Veo 3 has sparked a "fever" in the global content creation community since its launch at Google I/O 2025. With the ability to transform ideas into vivid videos, synchronizing visuals and audio from just a few descriptive prompts, Veo 3 is hailed as a "weapon" revolutionizing the creative industry.

Using this tool, users can turn prompts into realistic, indistinguishable videos, complete with dialogue and background music.

While AI-based video creation is not a new concept, Veo 3 stands out compared to competitors like OpenAI's Sora or Adobe Firefly due to its ability to generate audio and video simultaneously. This means users can describe a scene, and Veo 3 will produce a corresponding video, including dialogue and music.

Veo 3 is one of Google's most exciting products, but it does not exist in isolation. It is designed to work in tandem with other AI tools, including Gemini (a language model that enables Veo 3 to understand and convert text into videos), Imagen 4 (for generating visual images for Veo 3 reference), and Flow (a video creation platform that helps users create complete stories with Veo 3).

In Vietnam, as Veo 3 is not officially supported, a thriving market for buying and selling Veo 3 accounts has emerged, bringing significant risks

Currently, Veo 3 is only available in 73 countries, not including Vietnam. The service requires users to subscribe Google AI Ultra ($249.99/month, approximately VND6.5 million) or Google AI Pro ($20/month after the first free month).

To bypass regional restrictions, many Vietnamese users have resorted to using VPNs to switch their IP to the US and register accounts through promotional offers or even fake student accounts to access lower prices.

On platforms like Facebook, Threads, and e-commerce sites, numerous services selling "cheap" Veo 3 accounts have appeared, with prices starting from VND99,000 only.

Enticing advertisements like "legitimate accounts, stable usage" or "24/7 technical support" have prompted many, from content creators to small businesses, to jump in. However, behind the apparent convenience lie serious risks that have caused many users to pay a heavy price.

Since June 6, 2025, many users in AI-related Facebook groups have been shocked to find their accounts suspended, unable to use Veo 3 anymore. This reflects the real risks of buying and selling Veo 3 accounts in countries like Vietnam, where Google does not officially support the service.

Using VPNs to simulate IP addresses or exploiting student plan loopholes to register for Veo 3 directly violates Google's terms of service. On June 5, 2025, Google intensified its monitoring measures, blocking transitions from Student to Ultra plans to curb such practices, resulting in many users losing access instantly without refunds.

Accounts purchased from unreliable sources can be locked at any time, causing financial losses and disrupting creative work.

Additionally, some services selling Veo 3 accounts require users to provide personal information or log in through unclear links, increasing the risk of data theft, including Gmail account details, credit card information, or other critical data.

Another risk relates to technical and quality issues. Since Veo 3 does not fully support Vietnamese prompts, users must use English or translate content, which can lead to suboptimal results. Some users have also encountered audio errors, such as videos without sound, due to overly long or incompatible prompts.

Avoid chasing Veo 3 to prevent financial and data loss

To protect themselves and avoid unnecessary risks when chasing Veo 3 or any emerging AI tool, experts have given some advice:

First, avoid purchasing accounts from untrustworthy sources. Only buy from providers that issue VAT invoices and have clear support policies. Always verify the provider's information before transacting and beware of overly enticing advertisements.

Second, if using a VPN to access international services, opt for reputable paid options like NordVPN or ExpressVPN to ensure speed and security. However, using VPNs to bypass regional restrictions may violate the service provider's terms.

Third, always review video content carefully before sharing to ensure it does not infringe on copyrights or spread misinformation, especially with AI-generated content.

Users should wait for Google to officially support Veo 3 in Vietnam instead of taking risky, unofficial routes. Google DeepMind may expand its market in the future, and official registration will ensure a stable, secure, and legally compliant experience.
