On behalf of the Party and State leadership, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sincerely thanked and highly appreciated the Chinese Communist Party and Government for sending Minister Pei Jinjia to the celebrations, along with a delegation from the People's Liberation Army of China to participate in the parade.

He emphasized that this attendance demonstrates China's respect for, and support of, Vietnam's major political event and reflects the high-level friendship between Vietnam and China.

The Prime Minister expressed deep gratitude for the tremendous support and sacrifices that the Chinese Party, Government, and people provided Vietnam during the country's struggle for national independence and reunification.

He thanked China for its valuable support during Vietnam's struggle for independence and national reunification, noting specific historical contributions including the Yucai schools in Guilin and Nanning, which trained thousands of outstanding Vietnamese students, and the Nan Xishan Hospital in Guilin, which gave treatment to over 5,400 wounded Vietnamese soldiers. He also acknowledged China's assistance in building major projects including the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Thuy loi University, the Ministry of Planning and Investment headquarters, and Viet Tri Bridge.

Highlighting some achievements in the Vietnam - China relationship, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reaffirmed Vietnam's consistent view of strengthening and developing the friendly neighborly relationship and the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China as an objective requirement, a strategic choice, and a top priority in its overall foreign policy.

The Prime Minister stressed that China holds a unique and crucial role, being both a large neighboring country and a traditional friend. He expressed hope that both sides will work closely to effectively implement the common understandings reached during Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping’s recent visit to Vietnam.

He also called on the Chinese Ministry of Veterans Affairs to enhance exchanges and cooperation with Vietnamese agencies to preserve revolutionary heritage sites, contributing to educating both peoples about the traditional Vietnam - China friendship.

Minister Pei Jinjia, on behalf of the Chinese Party, Government, and people, congratulated Vietnam on successfully organizing the 50th anniversary celebration of national reunification. He also thanked Vietnam’s revolutionary leaders for their support during China's revolutionary struggle.

Minister Pei Jinjia affirmed that China prioritizes Vietnam in its neighborhood diplomacy and expressed his desire to work with Vietnamese ministries, sectors, and localities to implement high-level agreements, foster people-to-people exchanges, especially in managing and preserving revolutionary heritage sites, and to promote the traditional friendship, contributing to building a strategic, future-sharing partnership between the two countries.
