The daughter of Ms. H. in Da Nang accidentally threw away a jewelry set, including a diamond ring, while cleaning the house for Tet. Fortunately, sanitation workers stepped in to help recover the lost valuables.

On January 29, a representative from the Transport Enterprise under Da Nang Urban Environment Company confirmed to VietNamNet that their workers had successfully retrieved valuable belongings lost by Ms. C.T.M.H., a resident of Cam Le District, during New Year's Eve celebrations for Tet 2025.

The recovered items included various pieces of jewelry, among them a diamond ring estimated to be worth over 1 billion VND.

During the Tet house-cleaning process, Ms. H.'s daughter, who had recently returned from studying abroad, mistakenly discarded the bag containing the diamond ring into a trash bin on Nguyen Huu Tho Street in Cam Le District. The waste was then collected and transported to the Le Thanh Nghi compaction station in Hai Chau District.

Realizing the mistake, Ms. H. rushed to follow the garbage truck to Khanh Son landfill in Lien Chieu District, requesting a separate dumping area for the search effort.

Sanitation workers assisted in the search, and just before midnight on New Year's Eve, the lost jewelry was found and returned to Ms. H.
