Under the new adjustment, the maximum retail price of E5 RON92 petrol has increased by 214 VND to 19,659 VND (0.75 USD) per litre while that of RON95-III rose by 184 VND to 20,090 VND per litre.
The price of diesel 0.05S went up by 429 VND to 18,837 VND per litre, and the price of kerosene climbed by 239 VND to 18,371 VND per litre. In contrast, the price of mazut 180CST 3.5S dropped by 244 VND to 15,563 VND per kilogramme.
The adjustment was made in line with recent global developments and Vietnam’s state-managed market mechanism. The petrol price stabilisation fund was not applied to any fuel product during this round.
Since the beginning of 2025, fuel prices have undergone 29 adjustments. The price of RON95 petrol has increased 16 times and decreased 13 times, while diesel prices have seen 15 increases, 13 decreases, and one occasion where they were kept unchanged./. VNA
