The Hanoi People’s Committee has announced its plan to install LED screens and a loudspeaker system to serve citizens and tourists during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
According to the plan, the city will install 14 LED screens at 11 locations along the three official parade routes, and 7 LED screens at 6 gateway points leading into the capital. Additionally, 136 LED screens will be arranged in public areas across the city by local authorities.
The purpose of this setup is not only to create a joyful atmosphere for citizens but also to reduce the concentration of people and traffic pressure in the downtown area, particularly around Ba Dinh Square, where the main ceremony and parade will be held.
The city has tasked relevant departments with completing all installation work before August 27. The system will be operational from August 28 to September 2, after which all equipment will be dismantled and sites restored to their original condition by September 4.
This major logistical move highlights Hanoi's commitment to ensuring that every citizen can participate in the national celebration, whether physically at the venue or remotely via public broadcast infrastructure.
