At around 5 a.m. this morning, a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of 72m Road and 32 Road in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, involving a sleeper bus and a cargo truck (driver identities and vehicle plates are currently unknown).
Following the crash, the truck overturned, leaving the driver seriously injured and causing tons of watermelons to spill across the roadway, obstructing traffic.
Immediately afterward, passersby stopped their vehicles, lined up, and passed the watermelons hand to hand, helping the driver collect and sell them. All proceeds from the watermelon sales were handed over to the injured truck owner.
Authorities arrived promptly at the scene to manage traffic flow and investigate the accident.
The injured driver, who was trapped in the truck's cabin, was rescued by both local residents and emergency personnel and transported to the hospital for urgent medical care.
