Vietnam’s motorcycle market in July 2025 continues to recover, poised to enter the peak season starting in Q3 when shopping demand typically surges.

Seizing this opportunity, many brands and dealers have introduced new products alongside large-scale discounts and promotions.

In Hanoi, major dealerships have adjusted prices downward compared to the previous month, with reductions ranging from a few hundred thousand to several million VND.

At a Yamaha dealership, the 2025 Grande standard edition is heavily discounted, with an actual price of VND44.2 million, roughly VND2 million below the manufacturer’s listed price of VND46.15 million.

The Yamaha Exciter 155 VVA clutch model is sold at its listed price of VND54 million. Last month, Exciter models were slightly inflated, by VND300,000 to VND1 million.

With the launch of a new generation, the older Yamaha NVX 155 is being discounted by VND2-3 million from its list price to clear inventory, bringing the price of this sporty scooter to around VND52-53.5 million, though stock is limited.

Other popular Yamaha models like Janus, Sirius, and Jupiter maintain stable low prices, with actual selling prices about VND300,000-800,000 below the suggested retail price.

For Honda, Vietnam’s largest motorcycle brand, most models have seen slight price reductions compared to last month. Honda Winner X, a rival to Yamaha Exciter, leads with the steepest discount.

At a Hanoi showroom, this clutch model is discounted by up to VND18.5 million from the suggested price, with Winner X prices ranging from VND27.6-35.5 million.

Honda’s trendy scooters are also seeing record-low prices at authorized dealers (HEAD) compared to last month.

Honda Vision has cooled off, with some versions now selling below the listed price for the first time. Standard version (listed at VND31.3 million) and Premium version (VND32.8 million) are being sold at VND31 million and VND34 million, respectively, which is VND300,000 and VND1.2 million below the manufacturer’s suggested prices.

Honda Lead 125 is offered at VND38-41 million for the Standard and Premium versions, and VND47 million for the Special edition. These prices remain VND1.5-2.3 million above the suggested retail price, but they reflect a slight decline compared to a few months ago for this female-oriented scooter.

Among Honda’s scooters, the Vario 160 sees the deepest discounts. At a Hanoi HEAD, the Vario 160 is priced at VND45.6-50.5 million across four versions. Compared to the listed price of VND52-56.5 million, this sporty scooter is up to VND6 million cheaper.

Other bikes from brands like Piaggio, Suzuki, SYM, and electric motorcycles have maintained stable prices, with no significant changes noted.
