At an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on July 5, shareholders approved the addition of Pham Ngoc Vinh and Vuong Cong Duc to the board. Their appointments complete the airline’s governance structure for the current term.

This finalized leadership structure represents a crucial milestone in Bamboo Airways’ roadmap to strengthen executive capacity, enhance financial resilience, and prepare for a new growth cycle.

With 25 years of experience in investment and executive management across various economic sectors, Pham Ngoc Vinh has held numerous senior leadership roles. Prior to his official board role, he had already been serving as a strategic advisor to Bamboo Airways, where he contributed significantly to development planning.

Vuong Cong Duc, meanwhile, brings nearly 30 years of experience in law, finance, and banking. He has held top positions at several major organizations, including:

Member of the Board of Directors at Viet Capital Bank
Chairman of the Board at Ba Ria - Vung Tau International Tourism Services Co.
Current Board Member at Sacombank

Both Vuong Cong Duc and former Bamboo Airways Chairman Phan Dinh Tue are key representatives of Sacombank, a strategic financial partner deeply involved in Bamboo Airways’ restructuring. As Duc takes over from Tue at the airline, Phan Dinh Tue will continue to collaborate with him in leadership roles at Sacombank.

This strategic succession and coordinated partnership reflect the tight alignment between Sacombank and Bamboo Airways, aiming to achieve sustainable recovery and long-term growth for the airline.
