On June 20, a representative from the Traffic Police Department (C08) stated that this auction round will include 1,235,835 automobile and motorcycle plates.
These plates have been publicly listed on the official portal of the C08 and the Ministry of Public Security and will be eligible for auction after a one-month listing period.
Among the 34 participating localities, Ho Chi Minh City leads with more than 149,000 plates available (prefixes 50, 51, 59), followed by Hanoi with over 115,000 plates (prefixes 29, 30).
Notably, Hanoi is offering several rare and highly coveted quintuple-digit plates, including 30B-111.11 and 30B-222.22. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City features plates like 51M-666.66, 51M-888.88, and 51M-999.99.

As for the results of the sixth auction round, by June 19, a total of 56,498 license plates had been successfully auctioned. These included 19,569 car plates, generating approximately $70 million (1.781 trillion VND), and 36,929 motorcycle plates, generating about $20 million (510 billion VND). The total amount already paid by winning bidders stands at approximately $78 million (2 trillion VND).

99A-888.88 at $390,000 (10 billion VND)
20A-888.88 at $205,000 (5.2 billion VND)
14A-888.88 at $165,000 (4.2 billion VND)
51M-567.89 at $150,000 (3.8 billion VND)
Motorcycle plates also saw lively bidding, with top prices including:
50AA-888.88 at $57,000 (1.45 billion VND)
11AA-111.11 at $45,000 (1.13 billion VND)
Since the initiative began on September 15, 2023, the Ministry of Public Security has auctioned over 5 million license plates, contributing approximately $252 million (6.4 trillion VND) to the national budget.
