
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh serves as Head of the Committee. The Deputy Heads include Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh (Standing Deputy Head), Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son, and Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
The committee is tasked with researching, advising, recommending, and proposing directions and solutions to the Government and the Prime Minister to address major cross-sectoral issues related to the implementation of policies, strategies, programs, and projects concerning administrative reform, decentralization, and delegation of authority. It also focuses on the application of information technology and digital transformation in handling administrative procedures to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness.
Additionally, the committee assists the Government and Prime Minister in directing and coordinating among ministries, sectors, and localities in implementing strategies and resolving complex multi-sectoral issues in administrative reform and digital transformation.
A key responsibility of the committee is to provide timely direction in removing significant and cross-sectoral obstacles affecting citizens, businesses, and government bodies.
It also evaluates initiatives and proposals aimed at eliminating regulatory and procedural barriers that hinder business activities and the daily lives of citizens.
