Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung will serve as Standing Deputy Head of the committee, and Finance Minister Nguyen Van Thang has been named Deputy Head.

The committee is tasked with assisting the Prime Minister in studying, advising, recommending, and proposing directions and solutions to address critical inter-sectoral issues related to private sector development.

It also supports the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-affiliated bodies, and relevant organizations in addressing major inter-sectoral challenges in developing the private economy.

The committee is responsible for guiding ministries and local authorities in implementing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW to ensure the achievement of set goals.

According to its working regulations, the committee will meet quarterly and hold ad hoc meetings as decided by the head of the committee.

Committee members include:

Representatives from the Central Committees for Policy and Strategy; Propaganda and Mass Mobilization; Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and the National Assembly's Committees on Economic and Financial Affairs.

Leaders from government ministries and agencies, the State Bank of Vietnam, and the Government Inspectorate.

Leaders of the People's Committees of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hue, and Hai Phong.

Representatives from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Private Sector Development Research Board.
