At approximately 9:26 a.m. on June 27, Bai Chay Hospital received a report that a foreign tourist had lost consciousness while eating breakfast on a cruise ship. The victim was identified as Huang Hsiu Hsing, born in 1957 and holding Taiwanese (China) nationality.

By around 9:50 a.m., medical personnel reached the cruise ship and initiated basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). They observed that her throat contained food and digestive fluids, and her carotid pulse was weak and irregular.

The emergency team performed chest compressions and secured the airway before transferring her to Bai Chay Hospital. During transit, the patient experienced cardiac arrest. CPR continued en route.

At the hospital, the medical team proceeded with advanced resuscitation measures. Despite 60 minutes of continuous efforts, there was no return of spontaneous circulation. The patient was pronounced dead outside the hospital, with no signs of recovery.

Bai Chay Hospital reported the case to Giếng Đáy Ward Police. Authorities are managing the procedures for the deceased's body, which has been transferred to the Ha Long City funeral home for further processing in accordance with regulations.
