To prepare for these matches, head coach Kim Sang Sik has announced a 26-player squad for the Vietnam national team. The core lineup consists of players who helped Vietnam win the 2024 ASEAN Cup, with Pham Ly Duc (HAGL) being the only new addition.
Kim Sang Sik will continue to work alongside his South Korean assistants Yoon Dong Hun and goalkeeper coach Lee Woon Jae. Additionally, the VFF has signed Lee Jung Soo as an assistant coach, replacing Choi Won Kwon.
