On the morning of June 28, Nguyen Minh Sy, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Que Chau commune, confirmed that the storm affected houses in Phu Da, Phuoc Duc, and Khanh Duc villages, causing roof damage and internal destruction as tiles fell and broke household items. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

In response, officials from Que Chau commune and Que Son district visited affected areas to check on residents and provide immediate financial support.

Households with severe damage received VND 1 million (approx. USD 39), while those with minor damage received VND 500,000 (approx. USD 20).

Local police, militia, and youth union members were mobilized to assist families in repairing their roofs.

Damage assessments are ongoing to ensure proper recovery aid is delivered to those impacted by the tornado.
