Following several weeks of training in Vung Tau, Coach Kim Sang Sik and a 23-player squad boarded a flight to the archipelago nation to participate in the region’s most prestigious tournament for the U23 age group.

The goal for Coach Kim and his team is clear: successfully defend the championship title and secure a historic third consecutive U23 Southeast Asian crown.

In the group stage, U23 Vietnam is placed in Group B alongside U23 Laos and U23 Cambodia. The team will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22.
