On May 13, the Vietnam Food Administration issued three decisions to revoke the registration certificates of four health supplement products. Specifically:

V-ImuC and V-liverC, declared by Viet Phat Investment, Trade and Consulting Joint Stock Company (148B, Alley 1277 Giai Phong Street, Thinh Liet Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi).

On May 9, the health supplement MuntiGold, declared by D.P Minh Hai Trading Co., Ltd. (Hai Boi Hamlet, Hai Boi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi), was also revoked.

On May 6, eight more health supplements had their registration certificates withdrawn. These include:

Ich Giap Vuong Gold, declared by Akopha France Trading Co., Ltd. (No. 11, Alley 45, Lane 68, Trieu Khuc Street, Tan Trieu Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi).

Vy & Tea Herbal Tea, Dao Hoa Ngoc, and Smen, declared by Ha Vy Trading Service One-Member Co., Ltd. (No. 45, Group 1, National Road 14, Son Hiep Hamlet, Tho Son Commune, Bu Dang District, Binh Phuoc Province).

Synteract Mom's Iron Up, declared by Con Cung Corporation (101-103 Tran Quang Khai, Tan Dinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City; now relocated to 66 Nguyen Du, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

Hau Bien OB, declared by Grow Green AZ Co., Ltd. (No. 8, Alley 78, Giap Bat Lane, Giap Bat Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi).

DHC Multi Vitamins, declared by Belie Joint Stock Company (No. 81 Thai Thinh Street, Thinh Quang Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi; now relocated to Floor 1, No. 170 De La Thanh Street, O Cho Dua Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi).

Litho Calcium, declared by Horen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (No. 8, Alley 191 Pham Van Dong Street, Xuan Dinh Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi).

According to the Vietnam Food Administration, the revocation decisions were based on voluntary withdrawal requests from the companies, not related to product quality. Some companies had submitted withdrawal requests as early as 2023 or 2024, but decisions were only issued recently.

Sources from VietNamNet revealed that Decree 15/2018 does not clearly stipulate conditions for revoking product registration certificates. The Food Safety Authority had to seek guidance from the Ministry of Health, resulting in these recent revocations.

Under current regulations, dietary supplements must have valid product registration certificates issued by the Food Safety Authority to be produced and marketed in Vietnam.
