With guidance from Pope Francis, the Vietnamese Catholic community has made significant contributions to advancing Vietnam - Vatican relations, transitioning from a non-resident special envoy to the appointment of a resident representative.
Today, April 26, Minister of Ethnic and Religious Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung signed an electronic condolence book addressed to the Representative Office of the Holy See of the Vatican in Vietnam, paying tribute to Pope Francis, who recently passed away.
