The journey from the delegation’s accommodation to the Alabino training ground spanned more than 100 kilometers. To ensure a timely departure, the delegation’s breakfast was scheduled for 4:30 AM. Precisely at 5:30 AM, the convoy set off for Alabino.

The Alabino training ground is located within the Patriot Military Park, which also hosts the renowned Tank Biathlon competition - one of the most popular events of the International Army Games.

After nearly two hours on the road, the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Alabino and began preparations. By 9:00 AM, military units from all participating countries had gathered at the site.

Prior to the assembly, the organizers arranged for dozens of water trucks to spray the parade ground surface, minimizing dust and improving conditions for the rehearsal.

The morning temperature at Alabino was around 2 degrees Celsius, with clear skies. However, strong winds made the cold feel even more biting.

The first joint rehearsal for the parade

After two days of acclimating to the environment and adjusting to the cold weather, this marked the first joint rehearsal involving all military delegations for the Red Square parade.

During the session, the delegations familiarized themselves with their parade positions, sequence of appearance, and other regulations set forth by the organizers.
