A networking event in Berlin laid the groundwork for future collaboration among Vietnamese businesswomen at home and in Europe with counterparts from Kazakhstan and the Philippines.

During the 35th Global Summit of Women held in Berlin from July 3-5, 2025, a delegation of 35 representatives from the Vietnam Women Forum in Europe and 30 women entrepreneurs from the pioneering female leadership network WeLead in Vietnam held a business networking meeting with delegations from the Philippines and Kazakhstan.

Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Chairwoman of WeLead, expressed her delight that female entrepreneurs from various countries had the chance to meet in person and discuss specific matters. She hoped that the exchange would foster meaningful and beneficial connections for all delegates.

At the event, Dr. Phan Bich Thien, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women Forum in Europe, emphasized the importance of cross-border connections among women in today’s digital era. As technology and artificial intelligence evolve rapidly, women - especially female entrepreneurs - must stay updated. Building international connections plays a crucial role in sharing experiences and creating cooperative opportunities for joint development.

The networking session laid a solid foundation for future collaborations between Vietnamese women entrepreneurs, both in Vietnam and in Europe, and their peers from Kazakhstan and the Philippines.

Raushan Sarsembayeva, Chairwoman of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, thanked the Vietnamese side for initiating and meticulously organizing the meaningful exchange. She introduced the strengths of Kazakhstani women entrepreneurs and highlighted potential cooperation areas with Vietnam.

Rosemarie Rafael, Chairwoman of the Philippine Women Entrepreneurs Council, noted the geographic proximity between Vietnam and the Philippines, which she sees as advantageous for fostering cooperation. She also shared concrete partnership plans with Vietnam for the near future.

At the meeting, participants engaged in focused discussions that established a foundation for effective future cooperation. This event showcased the dynamism, innovation, and international reach of Vietnamese women striving to elevate Vietnam’s global presence.
